TXT Fighter

I did some character designs for an I Pad/Phone game a while back called TxT Fighter which is coming out this Fri. (Dec. 16th). Its a fighting game, but you have to text words to perform the attacks. The characters ended up looking really cool, especially their animations, and the game looks like its going to be a ton of fun. If you want to learn more you can visit the games site at http://txtfighter.com/index.html or you can check out the developers, 5 Elements Entertainment at http://www.5elementsentertainment.com/
They got a whole lot of cool games coming your way so be sure to check out there site for updates!

Pretty Fly for a Jedi

I got my new Tablet PC recently so I've been aching to try it out. I have an hour and a half train ride to work to and from so I thought I could use that time to do some art. This is a cool Jedi character to test out my tablet with. It definitely takes some getting used to but I'm really enjoying it!

AT-BT

I've been watching alot of Star Wars at work recently which was making me want to draw Star Wars stuff. While watching the Hoth battle scene I decided it'd be cool to design the next version of the AT-AT Walker. The AT-AT stands for All Terrain Armored Transport. I thought by adding an extra set of legs and some more cannons I could make it appear like a walking battle station which is where the AT-BT came from (All Terrain Battle Transport) I was trying to include some of the elements from the six legged walker in Episode 2 as well as the T shaped visor worn by the clone troopers in the prequel movies.

It was a fun little project and I think I came up with something that looks like it could comfortably fit in the Star Wars universe.

Jedi Star Fighters

I did these in school but I still like them. I loved the Jedi starfighters from the Starwars movies but I wanted to explore more with combining the Ep.2 and Ep. 3 versions. Definitely a fun exercise.

RoboCycle

I think the Tron bikes are freakin cool so I wanted to give Robocop his own Robocycle. I tried giving him a Cruiser version of a light cycle and I also wanted it to be able to flatten a bit like the batpod, so I arched it in the middle a little bit. I also added some guns on the top and changed the steering a bit. Robocops holds onto the handles and turns them forward and back as acceleration and brake, and leans to turn like the Batpod and Lightcycle.
It was fun to make so I hope you like it.

RoboCop Posters

I was playing around with how I would market my movie version of RoboCop, so I mocked up some movie posters. More like teaser posters. I wanted them to be sleek shiny, and kinda sexy looking.

Robocop 2

Continuing with my redesign of the Robocop universe I thought it was time to redesign Murphy most dangerous opponent, Robocop 2. While Robocop 2 was extremely impactful to me as a kid I questioned his inception, and so I wanted to update his design as well as give him a more logical back-story.

In my version of Robocop, Dick Jones’s ED-209 was the loser as an urban pacification droid to Robocop’s superior technology, however his design was successful as a military contract and is utilized by the Army as an all terrain tank. Robocop 2 is actually the next version of the ED line called ED-309. I rendered a version of ED-309 with his military amour and graphics. Having been humiliated by the original Robocop’s team success, Dick Jones is obsessed with creating a superior machine, which drives him to recruit Cain as his candidate for Robocop 2. ED-309 becomes Robocop 2 when Cain’s mind is inserted into a 309 unit and is a given the traditional metallic steel amour. I’ll likely do a rear view soon but please let me know what you think.

MegaMan

I wanted to try my hand at redesigning MegaMan as a live action character. I had designed some suits before for something unrelated, but a friend mentioned that it looked like MegaMan. With a few tweaks I decided to render him up and this is what I got. Let me know what you think. I'm considering designing his robodog as well. Oh and the bottom one just looks cool. Kind of an effects version of what he looks like in the dark :)
